Who is Therapeutic Solutions?
Therapeutic Solutions Training is a Christchurch based training company founded by clinical director Sarah Mather in 2007 in order to provide coordinated training opportunities for New Zealand allied health and nursing rehabilitation professionals.
Sarah is an Occupational Therapist specialising in neurology and has worked in neurological rehabilitation since 1993. Her experience has been based in a variety of acute, rehabilitation and community settings. She has worked in New Zealand, Australia and in London as a service head of a large Neurosciences Unit at Kings College Hospital before returning to New Zealand. Sarah has a Masters degree in Clinical Neuroscience and is a Clinical specialist and educator in Neuro-rehabilitation, Neuro-medicine and Neurosciences.
Sarah also works part time in private practice in clinical and consultancy roles and has additional professional interests within vision research, sensory processing and behavioural management in paediatric and adult populations.
Sarah has a team of four other trainers from Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Social Work backgrounds. More information on the trainer team is available on www.therapeuticsolutions.co.nz.
Therapeutic Solutions offers the unique service of being able to tailor make courses combining a number of interesting topics with practical sessions in order to meet the needs of your department.
For health and rehabilitation services in the Canterbury region, Therapeutic Solutions can offer a wide range of single or multiple session in-service topics, clinical supervision including the provision of practical onsite treatment sessions with Occupational Therapists.
Opportunities for course hosting
Courses are offered nationwide and hosting a course brings the benefit of increased convenience, reduced expense and the ability to have more staff attend.
